Privacy Policy

The short version: SuperFlex collects the account, subscription, workout, body metric, HealthKit, and progress photo data needed to run the app. We do not sell your data, we do not share your training or health data with advertisers, and we do not use your HealthKit data for advertising.

1. Who We Are

SuperFlex.Fit ("SuperFlex", "we", "our", or "us") provides the SuperFlex iOS application and this website. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@superflex.fit.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile and onboarding data — optional age, gender, height, weight, target weight, body fat percentage, training experience, goals, muscle priorities, injuries, available equipment, activity level, time zone, preferred units, training days, and session duration.
  • Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weight, RPE, notes, and timestamps you log during training sessions, plus templates, planned workouts, programs, achievements, analytics, and workout summaries.
  • Progress data — progress photos you take or import, body weight entries, body measurements, and the dates and units associated with those entries.
  • Support data — information you send to us when requesting help, such as your account email, device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue.

Information collected automatically:

  • Product update email — if you submit your email via our website updates form.
  • Website analytics — page views, referral information, browser/device information, approximate region, and product interaction data collected through website analytics tools such as Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Purchase and subscription state — product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal/cancellation status, purchase dates, expiration dates, store, and environment, processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card number, bank account number, or Apple ID payment credentials.
  • Limited diagnostics — the app does not currently include a third-party crash reporting SDK. We may receive diagnostics you send to support or aggregate diagnostics made available by Apple when users choose to share them with developers.

Apple Health (HealthKit):

With your permission, SuperFlex can read body weight from Apple Health and write completed workouts and body mass entries to Apple Health. HealthKit permissions are optional. HealthKit data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for marketing. You can revoke HealthKit permission at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the app's core functionality — logging workouts, computing 1RM estimates, displaying analytics, and tracking progress photos.
  • To manage your account, authentication, data export/import, account deletion, and subscription access.
  • To notify you about app updates and product news (only if you opted in via our updates form or app notifications).
  • To operate the website, understand website performance, and improve product pages and launch communications.
  • To diagnose support requests, server issues, or app reliability problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models for third parties, and we do not sell your data.

4. Data Storage and Security

SuperFlex stores account, workout, template, program, analytics, subscription, progress entry, and progress photo data on our servers so authenticated app features can work across sessions and devices. Some app preferences and temporary state may also be stored locally on your device. Data is transmitted using TLS, and access is restricted to authenticated requests. Account passwords are hashed before storage.

Progress photos are uploaded to our servers when you save them in the app's Progress feature. They are not public, not used for advertising, and not shared except as described in this policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — providers that help us operate SuperFlex, including hosting and database infrastructure, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, Loops for product email delivery, Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics for website analytics, and email/support tooling.
  • Apple services — Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, HealthKit permissions, and Apple ID account services under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and correction — you can view and edit your account data in Settings within the app.
  • Data export — you can export supported workout and account data from Settings.
  • Account deletion — you can permanently delete your account from Settings -> Account Deletion. This removes all server-side data associated with your account. Note that App Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple.
  • Notification opt-out — you can disable push notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
  • HealthKit permissions — you can revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Health.
  • Email unsubscribe — email privacy@superflex.fit if you want to be removed from product update emails.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Contact us at privacy@superflex.fit to exercise those rights.

7. Children's Privacy

SuperFlex is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Third-Party Links

The app and website may contain links to third-party services (e.g., Apple's subscription management). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the app. Your continued use of SuperFlex after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
