HealthKit Sync

What you can do with this feature

Each feature is built around a real training outcome, so you can make your next lifting decision with more confidence.

Stop entering the same data twice

Workouts and body weight can move through Apple Health instead of being retyped across apps.

Make strength sessions count

Completed workouts can show up as strength training records in Apple Health.

Keep permissions in your control

HealthKit access stays user-controlled through iOS, and permissions can be changed any time.

How It Works

Simple workflow. Real-world training flexibility.

SuperFlex keeps the main path fast while preserving the context serious lifters need.

1

Enable HealthKit in settings

Choose the categories SuperFlex can access, including workouts and body weight.

2

Save strength workouts

SuperFlex writes completed strength sessions to Apple Health as workout records.

3

Sync body weight context

Body weight can stay aligned between SuperFlex, Apple Health, and the devices or apps that update it.

4

Change access whenever you want

iOS remains the control center for HealthKit permissions.

Why It Matters

Apple Health should be the hub, not another place to clean up later.

Most lifters already have weight, rings, sleep, and other fitness data flowing through Apple Health. SuperFlex plugs strength training into that system so the rest of your stack has a more complete picture.

FAQ

Common questions about HealthKit Sync

What HealthKit data does SuperFlex use?
SuperFlex focuses on strength workouts and body weight. It does not need broad access to every Apple Health category.
Can I turn HealthKit sync off?
Yes. You can disable sync in SuperFlex or revoke permissions in iOS settings.
Does SuperFlex import old Apple Health workouts?
Not as full workout logs at launch. Apple Health workouts from other apps usually do not include set-by-set detail.
Is HealthKit data sent through SuperFlex servers?
HealthKit permissions are handled on device by Apple. SuperFlex reads and writes only the Health data you allow, and SuperFlex account data is stored separately for app features.
